So bloody good.
Massively inspired by the epic Sorted Food’s Sidekick recipe.
2 cloves garlic
Good thumb of ginger
6 Pork Sausages
1tsp Sugar
2 eggs (If you fancy serving them with the dish)
4tbsp Sriracha
2tbsp honey
4tbsp cider vinegar
Noodles… however much you fancy.
Breadcrumbs
Grate ginger and garlic into a mixing bowl, peel the sausages out of the skin.
Add the sugar and a generous amount of black pepper, and then mix together. Add a decent amount of breadcrumbs – this just helps dry the mix off and bring it all together, else I find it’s too sticky.
Make little balls from the mix. You should get 12-16. Put them on greaseproof paper, else they will stick to EVERYTHING.
Heat up a frying pan, put a small amount of oil just to coat the pan, and then plonk the balls into the pan to sear off.
Boil your eggs now for 6ish minutes, if you’re doing that.
Cook the noodles now, whilst the pork balls are cooking. Keep turning the pork balls, brown them off all over.
Once you have nice brown balls (teehee), in the same pan, add the sriracha, honey, cider vinegar. Stir to combine, and let it cook out and coat the beautiful pork balls.
Transfer the cooked noodles to the frying pan, and coat them too.
Serve. Eat. Enjoy.
You can add some spinach into the pan at the same time as you add the noodles and cook out, just to add some green. And probably make it a bit healthier? But idk.
