When a rice cooker falls into your possession FOR free, the best thing to do is to learn how to cook the damn perfect fluffy grains.
Out of my own Trial…and many errors, here are my found and recommended measurements for the fluffiest rice every time*.
Now… These servings have been able to serve two (that varies on a scale of super hungry and snack amount)

Curry Rice (Basmati)
- 600ml cold water
- Bay Leaves
- Crack o’ Salt & Pep
- 400g of Rice
- 1 tbsp of lemon juice
- 1 stock cube
Rinse the rice and let it sit for 10 minutes before you start cook it.
Sushi Rice
• 1.5 Cups (est. 337.5g) uncooked sushi rice
• 2 Cups of water (est. 473.17ml)
• 1/4 Cup of Rice Vinegar (56.25ml)
• Salt & Pepper to taste
